If you have ever been envious of a model’s profile photo, you may be wondering, “How do I stop Instagram from showing me models?” Well, there are a few options to do so. You can choose to block specific categories or unfollow accounts that regularly post photos of models. Blocking the accounts of multiple users will prevent the same pictures from showing up on your Explore page. However, if you do not want to block specific users, you must first follow other users who have the same interest.
To limit the number of models that appear in your feed, you need to know the algorithm used by Instagram. The algorithm is similar to that of a feed and displays material it thinks you’ll be interested in. The Explore feed contains items from accounts you’ve not discovered yet. The algorithm uses more than just hashtags to determine what will appear in your feed. In addition, it takes into account the actual visual material and the description. Depending on how much you interact with models, they may show up on your explore page.
To manually change the algorithm, go to your Instagram profile and tap on the hamburger menu icon. Tap on your Explore page. Once you’re there, tap on the post you want to block. Then, tap on the three-dot menu icon to select it and tap Clear All. You’ll be prompted with a prompt asking if you want to view a specific post. By doing this, you’ll be able to block unwanted posts from showing up in your Explore page.
